Beginner PADI Courses
Discover Scuba Diving
Have you ever wanted to know what breathing underwater feels like? If so, this experience is perfect for you. This is a class you can take to see if you like scuba diving before making the commitment to a full certification course like Open Water. Or just to try something new during your vacation. Discovery scuba involves a small class in the boat, a few skills practiced in a pool like environment and a shallow ocean dive no more than 12m/40ft. You will learn to put on dive gear, how to breathe underwater and learn some very basic skills to make you feel more comfortable during your dive.
PADI Scuba Diver Course
The PADI scuba diver course requires less time to complete than the full PADI Open Water Course. This scuba course is an ideal certification for those who want to become certified on vacation yet don’t have the time to do the full certification.
PADI Open Water Certification
PADI Open Water course is the first step in getting into the world of scuba diving. The course takes 3-4 days to complete and entails numerous in-water skills, self study time and knowledge reviews. At the end of the course you will have the knowledge and confidence to explore the underwater world and continue in your dive training.
Junior Open Water Diver
Junior Open Water Diver is a special scuba certification for divers who are at least 10 years old, but younger than 15. The Junior Open Water Diver course covers the same material as the standard PADI Open Water Diver course but has smaller teacher-to-student ratios and shallower depth limits.
PADI Bubble Maker
This is the first time your little ones can get a taste of scuba diving. This course is designed for ages 8 and up and will last a few hours. They will get a chance to become familiar with scuba equipment and the basics of diving. After a short pool session they will go into the ocean in shallow water, less than 6 feet.
PADI Seal Team
The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who want action-packed fun in a pool environment. This course allows them to do exciting AquaMissions in order to get more confidence in their diving abilities. They can choose from a number of AquaMission Specialties including, Night Specialist, Creature ID and Inner Space Specialist.
PADI Scuba Tune-up
This is a course for certified divers who have not been diving in over 12 months or divers that feel as if they need a refresher course before getting back into the water. The course will go through gear assembly, basic skills and safety skills while diving. After the course you will feel like a safer and more confident diver with the skill refreshment. Get the PADI Re-Activate and refresh your scuba knowledge. Move quickly through topics you know well, dive deeper on topics where your knowledge may have lapsed.
We offer you 3 options to refresh your skills: Option 1: Pool session + 2 open water dives normally done over 2 days. With Re-Activate PADIelearning to review the dive theory subject you need. Option 2: 2 open water dives that includes skills practice with review of equipment and safety procedures. With Re-Activate PADIelearning to review the dive theory subject you need. Option 3: 2 open water dives that includes skills practice with review of equipment and safety procedures. (This option doesn’t include the Re-Activate e-card)Advanced PADI Courses
Advanced Open Water
After you become certified as an Open Water diver, you can continue on and try new types of scuba diving adventures. This course is a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your skill set and gain more confidence as a diver. You will have a lot of Adventure Dives to choose from, some on them including Deep Water Diving and Underwater Navigation. To be able to complete the course you will have to finish 5 specialities. The minimum age for this course is 15 years old.
PADI Adventure Diver
If you do not have the time to complete all five of the necessary specialties to get certified as an Advanced Open Water, than you can get certified as an Adventure Diver. The difference is that an Adventure diver has 3 specialties instead of five; as soon as you get your other two specialties completed you can become an AOW diver.
PADI Rescue Diver Course
Becoming a Rescue Diver is one of the most rewarding and challenging courses you will take in your scuba diving career. It builds on what you have learned in your previous courses and teaches you about potential situations you can encounter and how to deal with them. If a diving emergency comes up you will have the skills and confidence to manage it. You must be 12 years old to take this course and must have current CPR and first aid training.
Specialty Certifications
Add to your resume some specialties. Here we can certify you for Emergency O2 Provider, Deep Diver, Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Nitrox (enriched air diver), Fish Identification diver, Underwater Naturalist diver and Boat diver.
Nitrox/Enriched Air Course
Otherwise known as Nitrox! It is a higher concentration of oxygen that allows you more no decompression dive time, so this means more time underwater for you. The course will teach you how to dive with Enriched Air and what is involved in the process of blending it. Most importantly the course will teach you how to analyze you own blend.
Master Scuba Diver
Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving and live the dive life as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you’ve spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures. The path starts with earning a PADI Open Water Diver certification, followed by PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certifications). You also need to earn five PADI Specialty Diver certifications and have logged a minimum of 50 dives.
Pro PADI Courses
PADI Divemaster Course
A Divemaster is the first level of professional scuba diving. In this course you will work closely with your Instructor to expand you dive knowledge and hone your skills to a professional level. The training you will receive develops your leadership skills and will qualify you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. The course requires a lot of self study and practical training exercises, that are all organized into a structured internship. Prerequisites include being 18 years old, a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, a PADI Rescue Diver, EFR and have 40 dives to begin and 60 for certification.
First Aid Courses
Emergency First Response Course
This is not just a course for scuba divers, it is also a great course for anyone to take. It will teach you ways of approaching a situation and giving medical help to people who need it. You will learn Basic Life Support, Primary and Secondary care and much, much more..
Emergency Oxygen Provider
This is another great safety course to take. If anything should happen on your dive, this course will teach you how to assist in situations that require the use of Emergency Oxygen. You will learn to recognize illnesses that are treatable with emergency oxygen, how to properly set up the equipment and how to administer it to a patient.
