Whale Watching Tours

December 15 until March 20, is the official whale watching season in Zihuatanejo. The warm waters of Guerrero become home to the spectacular humpback whales. Come enjoy the beauty of these animals on one of our Whale Watching Tours. Our marine biologist guide welcomes you on board. Get ready to be wowed! Other species frequently observed include Dolphins, sea turtles, mobula rays, cownose rays, black tuna and different species of marine birds. Be sure to wear your bathing suit. When possible we stop at a snorkeling site and let you jump in the water. We provide masks and snorkels.

We collect valuable data during our tours like distribution, behaviors, residency patterns etc. We also use the Happy Whale application to share our observations.

New!!! Kids program; Biologist for a tour!

Your kids get to be a Marine biologist collecting data for the time of our tour. We provide them each with an observation sheet where we will enter information about what we see during the tour. They will learn about the whales and other marine animals, take water temperature, assist in using the hydrophone and learn how we use the Happy Whale application to share our data. At the end of the tour they will receive a whale sticker for work well done.
